Day 01: Mangalore – Bekal – Kasaragod
In the morning our representative will pick you from your hotel / railway station / airport, and thereafter a drive to the Backwater country of Kasargod.
Kasargod is located on the sea coast bordered by hilly Kodagu and Mangalore districts of Karnataka. Even in this era of great industrialization, here fishing is the chief source of livelihood. Along with this, people also work in handloom and coir sectors for earning their daily bread and butter. Furthermore owing to its natural and traditional richness, Kasargod is bestowed with numerous tourist attractions like the dazzling rivers, sandy beaches, splendid hills, ancient forts and sacred shrines.
Fortresses being the main attraction of the place are included in the itinerary. The first stopover of the tour is the Bekal Fort, standing on 35 acres headland that runs into the Arabian Sea. It is among the largest and the best preserved forts of Kerala. The fort is complemented with a zigzag entrance and the trenches that border it stand as an evidence of the defense strategy of yester years. Further cosseted by the soothing music of the sea waves, the fort is highly appreciated for its surroundings and ambience.
Though ¾ of the fort has been drenched into the sea, yet it holds immense beauty and magnificence that allure the onlookers. Along with the fort, one can also visit the nearby Hanuman Temple and Muslim Mosque. These holy shrines hold great religious worth.
Later continue the drive to Kasargod. Check into a hotel on arrival. Enjoy an overnight stay at Kasargod.
Day 02: Kasargod -Valyaparamba
In the morning have an awesome experience of the backwaters at Chandragiri. Situated in the southeast of the Kasargod town, near the Chandragiri River, this place is highly popular for owning a grand 17th century old fort. This fort was built by Sivappa Naik of Bednore, and today the same fortress is standing as the prime attraction of the respective place. Further, one can also visit the Chandragiri Fort, another edifice built by the same emperor. The Chandragiri Fort greets the onlookers with the spectacular vistas of the river and the Arabian Sea. Moreover, one who wishes to soak in the bonafide essence of the place must not miss the chance of witnessing sunrise and sunset from the site.One of the best and perhaps the last stopover en-route will be Valyaparamba.it is considered among the most scenic backwater stretches of the state. Fed by four rivers and sprinkled with numerous little islands, it is certainly a must see place. It is fast turning into a much favored backwater resort that offers enchanting boat cruises.
Upon arrival, take pleasure in the boat trips to nearby islands encircled by palm groves. Later return to the hotel and unwind via warm hospitality. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 03: Kasargod – Mangalore
After breakfast leave for kasargod.and drive to mangalore we would like to see st mary island and visit our collegue in Mangalore and in the evening drop at mangalore railway station.Further continue drive to Mangalore and upon arrival head towards Airport / Railway station.

29 to 19 days prior to the departure: 50% of the package cost
19 to 01 days prior to the departure: 100% of the package cost
