Day 1: Guwahati – Cherrapunji Scenic Drive

Begin your journey from Guwahati in the morning and drive towards Cherrapunji, enjoying one of the most scenic routes in Northeast India. En route, stop at the breathtaking Umiam Lake (Barapani Lake) near Shillong, where travellers can admire the expansive reservoir surrounded by lush hills. Continue the drive through Meghalaya’s misty landscapes and stop at Mawkdok Dympep Valley Viewpoint, offering spectacular views of the deep green valley below. On arrival in Cherrapunji, check in at the hotel and visit the famous Nohkalikai Falls, one of the tallest plunge waterfalls in India. Later explore Seven Sisters Falls, a stunning series of waterfalls cascading down limestone cliffs. Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

Day 2: Cherrapunji Nature & Cave Exploration

After breakfast, proceed for a full day exploring the natural wonders of Cherrapunji. Visit the fascinating Mawsmai Cave, a limestone cave known for its impressive rock formations and narrow passages. Continue to Eco Park, which offers panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and the plains of Bangladesh. Later visit the spectacular Wei Sawdong Waterfalls, known for its multi-tiered cascading beauty. Travellers may also explore nearby viewpoints or enjoy short treks through the lush landscapes. Optional trekking experiences such as visiting Double Decker Living Root Bridge in Nongriat Village can be arranged on a Direct Payment Basis for adventure travellers. Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

Day 3: Cherrapunji – Return to Guwahati

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin the return journey to Guwahati. En route enjoy scenic hill landscapes and stop for photography at viewpoints along the route. On arrival in Guwahati, if time permits, travellers may visit the famous Kamakhya Temple, one of the most important Shakti Peeth temples in India. Later proceed to the airport, railway station, or preferred drop location, concluding a memorable Meghalaya hill tour with Travelotouch.

  For payments made through cheques documents will only be dispatched after the cheque clearance.

• Cancellation PolicyIn case of cancellation of holiday, the cancellation request must be informed to us via email. As per the booking conditions of holiday packages, we will be constrained to levy the following cancellation charges:30 days or more prior to the departure: 25% of the package cost29 to 19 days prior to the departure: 50% of the package cost

  19 to 01 days prior to the departure: 100% of the package cost

• If you Cancel your Holiday
  You or any member of your party may cancel their travel arrangements at any time. Written notification or an e-mail to that effect from the person who made the booking must be received at our office. The cancellation charges applicable are as per the published cancellation policy below: Cancellation charges per person
  Minimum deposit amount is non-refundableIf we change or cancel your holiday.We do plan the arrangements in advance. It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your travel arrangements. o Occasionally, we may have to make changes and we reserve the right to do so at any time. If there are any changes, we will advise you of them at the earliest possible date. o We also reserve the right under any circumstances to cancel your travel arrangements by assigning reasons to you. If we are unable to provide the booked travel arrangements due to reasons beyond our control (e.g. bad weather):We shall first try to offer alternative dates for the tour if the tour hasn’t already commenced. o If the tour has already commenced, then we shall refund the booking price/fee charged to you on a pro-rata basis depending on the portion of the tour utilized by you. o In all circumstances, however, our liability shall be limited to refunding to you the price we charged as tour fees (Depending on refund from suppliers/hotels).Other Important points for changes in booking

  If you want to change your holiday plan After confirmation of services, if you wish to change your travel arrangements in any way (e.g. your chosen departure date or accommodation), we will do our utmost to make these changes but it may not always be possible. Any request for changes must be in writing from the person who made the booking. All cost incurred due to amendment will be borne by you.

  If there is any refund which is approved by us will be credited in your account 01 to 28 days after approval.

  Guest Conduct and Termination of Services

  • Travelotouch is committed to ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all guests, staff, drivers, and service providers. Any guest engaging in the following behaviors will result in immediate termination of all services, with no refund applicable:
    • Verbal or physical abuse, harassment, or threatening behavior toward staff, drivers, or other guests.
    • Disruptive or inappropriate conduct that impacts the safety or experience of others.
    • Any illegal activities, including but not limited to possession or use of prohibited substances, vandalism, or violation of local laws.
    • Non-compliance with tour guidelines or instructions provided by Travelotouch representatives.
  • In such cases, Travelotouch reserves the right to end services on the spot, and the guest will be responsible for any additional costs (e.g., transportation or accommodation) incurred due to termination. No refunds will be issued for unused services, and the guest will remain liable for any damages caused.
  • Note: Incidents will be documented, and authorities may be involved if illegal activities are suspected. Contact support@travelotouch.com for concerns or to report issues.

  If you have a complaint

  If you face any problem during your holiday, please inform the relevant supplier (e.g. your hotelier, transporter etc.) and/or call and email our representative immediately (email for feedback and complaints: support@travelotouch.com) who will endeavour to set things right. If your complaint is not resolved locally, please follow this up within 28 days of your return home by writing to us, with your booking reference and all other relevant information. However, please be advised that while we are happy to assist you in the redressal of your complaint, if any, we will be able to extend only our best efforts in managing/coordinating your complaint with the respective service provider. All third party service providers are independent contractors who are at no time under our control or supervision.

  Holiday Vouchers Delivery:

  For fixed departure: We release the holiday vouchers 03 days prior to departure date.

  For Standard holiday (FIT) plan we release the holiday vouchers within 24 to 48 hours after receiving complete payment.

  If payment made through cheque the vouchers will be issued within 24 hours to 48 hours after amount credited in our account.
  Driver detail will be shared 24 hours before starting the travel.
