Ultimate South India Darshan & Coastal Explorer : 37 Days – Ex Hyderabad

Day 1: Hyderabad → Srisailam 

Pickup from Hyderabad and drive towards the sacred hill town of Srisailam. En route enjoy scenic views of the Nallamala forests. On arrival, check in and later visit Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple (Jyotirlinga) and Bhramaramba Devi Temple. Attend evening aarti and spend time at the temple complex. Overnight in Srisailam.

Day 2: Srisailam → Tirupati 

Early morning darshan if pending, then drive towards Tirupati. Arrive and check in. Evening visit Padmavathi Temple (Tiruchanur) and local temples around Tirupati. Overnight in Tirupati.

Day 3: Full Day Tirumala Darshan 

Early morning proceed to Tirumala for darshan of Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple (as per special entry / standard darshan tickets). After darshan, visit Akasha Ganga, Papavinasam, Silathoranam (Natural Rock Arch) if time permits. Return to Tirupati for overnight stay.

Day 4: Tirupati → Vellore → Kanchipuram

Check out and drive to Vellore. Visit the famous Sripuram Golden Temple (Sri Lakshmi Narayani Temple). Continue to Kanchipuram, one of India’s oldest temple towns. Visit Ekambareswarar Temple, Kailasanathar Temple, Varadharaja Perumal Temple and explore silk saree markets. Overnight in Kanchipuram.

Day 5: Kanchipuram → Mahabalipuram

After breakfast, drive to the coastal heritage town of Mahabalipuram. Check in and proceed to visit Shore Temple, Arjuna’s Penance, Five Rathas, Krishna’s Butter Ball, Pancha Pandava Cave and seaside rock-cut monuments. Enjoy evening at Mahabalipuram Beach. Overnight in Mahabalipuram.

Day 6: Mahabalipuram → Tiruvannamalai

Today drive to the spiritual town of Tiruvannamalai. Visit the grand Arunachaleswarar Temple, one of the Pancha Bhoota Sthalams (Fire element). Explore temple streets and Ramana Ashram (if interested). Overnight in Tiruvannamalai.

Day 7: Tiruvannamalai → Pondicherry 

After breakfast, drive to Pondicherry. Check in and start exploring French Quarter, Promenade Beach, Bharathi Park, Manakula Vinayagar Temple, Aurobindo Ashram. Evening free for café hopping by the seaside. Overnight in Pondicherry.

Day 8: Pondicherry Sightseeing 

Full day in and around Pondicherry. Visit Auroville (Matrimandir View Point), Serenity Beach, churches and local markets. Enjoy relaxed coastal vibes. Overnight in Pondicherry.

Day 9: Pondicherry → Kumbakonam

Check out and drive towards the temple town of Kumbakonam. En route you may cover Chidambaram Nataraja Temple (optional if time permits). Around Kumbakonam, visit cluster temples like Sarangapani Temple, Kumbeshwarar Temple, Airavatesvara Temple (Darasuram – UNESCO site). Overnight in Kumbakonam.

Day 10: Kumbakonam → Tanjore → Trichy 

Drive to Tanjore (Thanjavur) and visit the majestic Brihadeeswarar Temple (Big Temple) and Tanjore Palace / Art Gallery. Later continue to Trichy. Visit Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple (Srirangam) and Jambukeswarar Temple (Thiruvanaikaval) if time permits. Overnight in Trichy.

Day 11: Trichy → Kodaikanal 

After breakfast, head to the hill station of Kodaikanal. Arrive, check in and enjoy Coaker’s Walk, Bryant Park, Kodaikanal Lake (boating) and local viewpoints. Overnight in Kodaikanal.

Day 12: Kodaikanal Full Day

Full-day sightseeing covering Pillar Rocks, Guna Caves (view), Pine Forest, Upper Lake View, Kurinji Andavar Temple, waterfalls as per season. Evening free around the lake. Overnight in Kodaikanal.

Day 13: Kodaikanal → Madurai

Drive down to Madurai. Visit the iconic Meenakshi Amman Temple, Thirumalai Nayakkar Palace and local markets. Evening temple aarti. Overnight in Madurai.

Day 14: Madurai → Rameshwaram

After breakfast, proceed to Rameshwaram. En route enjoy views of Pamban Bridge. Visit Ramanathaswamy Temple (Jyotirlinga), Agni Theertham, Panchmukhi Hanuman Temple, local theerthams. Overnight in Rameshwaram.

Day 15: Rameshwaram → Kanyakumari

Morning free for additional temple rituals if required. Then drive to Kanyakumari. Visit Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Thiruvalluvar Statue (boat as per availability), Kanyakumari Temple and enjoy the famous sunset point. Overnight in Kanyakumari.

Day 16: Kanyakumari → Kovalam & Poovar (1N)

After witnessing sunrise (optional), depart for Kovalam & Poovar. Check in near Kovalam. Enjoy Lighthouse Beach, Hawa Beach and an optional Poovar backwater boat ride through mangroves and golden sand bar. Overnight in Kovalam/Poovar area.

Day 17: Kovalam → Trivandrum

Short drive to Trivandrum. Visit Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Napier Museum, Zoo, and Shankumugham Beach. Overnight in Trivandrum.

Day 18: Trivandrum → Varkala

Drive to the cliff-side beach town of Varkala. Check in and relax at Varkala Cliff & Beach, explore cafes overlooking the Arabian Sea. Overnight in Varkala.

Day 19: Varkala Leisure & Sightseeing

Day free to enjoy Varkala Beach, Janardanaswamy Temple, nearby viewpoints, yoga / spa (optional). Overnight in Varkala.

Day 20: Varkala → Alleppey

Proceed to Alleppey (Alappuzha). Check in to houseboat or backwater resort as per package. Cruise through the serene Vembanad backwaters, enjoy traditional Kerala meals onboard. Overnight in Alleppey.

Day 21: Alleppey → Thekkady

After breakfast, drive to Thekkady (Periyar). Visit Spice Plantation, enjoy Periyar Lake boat safari (subject to availability), and optional Kathakali / Kalaripayattu show. Overnight in Thekkady.

Day 22: Thekkady → Munnar

Drive through tea gardens to Munnar. En route stop at Gap Road Viewpoint, tea estates. After check-in, visit Tea Museum or local market if time permits. Overnight in Munnar.

Day 23: Munnar Full Day 

Full-day Munnar sightseeing: Eravikulam National Park (Rajamalai – season based), Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Lake, Top Station viewpoint and tea plantations. Overnight in Munnar.

Day 24: Munnar → Cochin

Drive to Cochin (Kochi). Visit Fort Kochi, Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica, Jew Town & Synagogue (closed some days) and Marine Drive. Overnight in Cochin.

Day 25: Cochin → Guruvayur

Proceed to Guruvayur, one of Kerala’s most revered temple towns. Visit Guruvayur Sri Krishna Temple, Mammiyoor Shiva Temple and Elephant Camp (Punnathur Kotta) if time permits. Overnight in Guruvayur.

Day 26: Guruvayur → Kozhikode (Calicut)

Drive to Kozhikode. Explore Kozhikode Beach, Mananchira Square, SM Street (Mittayi Theruvu) for shopping and local snacks. Overnight in Kozhikode.

Day 27: Kozhikode → Wayanad

Head to the green district of Wayanad. On arrival, visit nearby attractions like Pookode Lake or viewpoints depending on time. Overnight in Wayanad.

Day 28: Wayanad Full Day

Full-day sightseeing: Edakkal Caves, Soochipara / Meenmutty Falls (as per accessibility), Lakkidi View Point, Banasura Sagar Dam etc. Overnight in Wayanad.

Day 29: Wayanad → Kannur

Drive to coastal Kannur. Visit Payyambalam Beach, St. Angelo Fort and, in season, experience Theyyam (if available & pre-arranged). Overnight in Kannur.

Day 30: Kannur → Mangalore

Proceed along the Malabar coast to Mangalore. Visit Kadri Manjunath Temple, Mangaladevi Temple, Panambur / Tannirbavi Beach. Overnight in Mangalore.

Day 31: Mangalore → Udupi

Short drive to Udupi. Visit Sri Krishna Matha, Anantheshwara & Chandramouleshwara Temples, and nearby Malpe Beach / St. Mary’s Island (boat subject to season). Overnight in Udupi.

Day 32: Udupi → Murudeshwar

Continue to Murudeshwar. Visit the massive Shiva statue, Murudeshwar Temple & Raja Gopuram, and relax by the beach. Overnight in Murudeshwar.

Day 33: Murudeshwar → Gokarna

Drive to Gokarna, a blend of pilgrimage and beach vibes. Visit Mahabaleshwar Temple, Om Beach, Kudle Beach and viewpoints. Overnight in Gokarna.

Day 34: Gokarna → Hampi

Today drive inland to the UNESCO heritage town of Hampi (Hospet region). Evening at leisure by Tungabhadra River or local bazaar. Overnight in Hampi.

Day 35: Hampi Full Day

Explore the ruins of the Vijayanagara Empire – Virupaksha Temple, Vittala Temple (stone chariot & musical pillars), Royal Enclosure, Queen’s Bath, Lotus Mahal, Elephant Stables, Hemakuta Hills & sunset points. Overnight in Hampi.

Day 36: Hampi → Mantralayam

Drive to Mantralayam, the abode of Sri Raghavendra Swamy. Visit the Raghavendra Swamy Mutt / Temple complex, participate in evening seva / aarti. Overnight in Mantralayam.

Day 37: Mantralayam → Hyderabad Drop

After breakfast and final darshan, drive back to Hyderabad. Drop at your preferred location (home / railway station / airport). Tour ends with an unforgettable all-round South India darshan and coastal experience.

  Cancellation PolicyIn case of cancellation of holiday, the cancellation request must be informed to us via email. • If you Cancel your Holiday
  You or any member of your party may cancel their travel arrangements at any time. Written notification or an e-mail to that effect from the person who made the booking must be received at our office.   Minimum deposit amount is non-refundableIf we change or cancel your holiday.We do plan the arrangements in advance.   • Travelotouch is committed to ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all guests, staff, drivers, and service providers. Any guest engaging in the following behaviors will result in immediate termination of all services, with no refund applicable:
    • Verbal or physical abuse, harassment, or threatening behavior toward staff, drivers, or other guests.
    • Disruptive or inappropriate conduct that impacts the safety or experience of others.
    • Any illegal activities, including but not limited to possession or use of prohibited substances, vandalism, or violation of local laws.
    • Non-compliance with tour guidelines or instructions provided by Travelotouch representatives.
  • In such cases, Travelotouch reserves the right to end services on the spot, and the guest will be responsible for any additional costs (e.g., transportation or accommodation) incurred due to termination. No refunds will be issued for unused services, and the guest will remain liable for any damages caused.

  If you have a complaint

  If you face any problem during your holiday, please inform the relevant supplier (e.g. your hotelier, transporter etc.) and/or call and email our representative immediately (email for feedback and complaints: support@travelotouch.com) who will endeavour to set things right. If your complaint is not resolved locally, please follow this up within 28 days of your return home by writing to us, with your booking reference and all other relevant information. However, please be advised that while we are happy to assist you in the redressal of your complaint, if any, we will be able to extend only our best efforts in managing/coordinating your complaint with the respective service provider. All third party service providers are independent contractors who are at no time under our control or supervision.

  Holiday Vouchers Delivery:

  For fixed departure: We release the holiday vouchers 03 days prior to departure date.

  For Standard holiday (FIT) plan we release the holiday vouchers within 24 to 48 hours after receiving complete payment.

  If payment made through cheque the vouchers will be issued within 24 hours to 48 hours after amount credited in our account.
  Driver detail will be shared 24 hours before starting the travel.
