Manali Leh – Ladakh Road trip : 13 Nights / 14 Days | Ex Chandigarh

Day 1 : Start from Chandigarh and proceed to  Manali. 

Early Morning pick up From Chandigarh and proceed to Manali. On Arrival check in Hotel Check in the Hotel After Fresn nup Go for local Manali Sightseen proceed to Visit the 450 years old Hadimba Devi Temple built in the tranquil and serene woods, the oldest temple in Manali, Tibetan center & monastery, Club House , Vanvihar , Mall Road Manali and Vashisht village,  known for its hot Sulphur springs. Night stay in Manali.

Day 2 : Kullu Manikaran

After Breakfast Drive to Kullu Manikaran KULLU AND MANIKARAN enjoy Rafting and Kullu market. Visit Manikaran as well known for its natural beauty. Return to Manali to explore the town on  Over Night stay at Hotel

Day 3 : Manali –Jispa Via Rohtang

After Breakfast proceed to Jispa via Rohtang. On Arrival at Jispa Check in at Hotel and Overnight stay.

Day 4 : Jispa to Sarchu

Today you will go throughe greater Himalayan landscape to reach the next destination, Sarchu. Enjoy the beautiful surrounding place while riding on Baralacha la pass. Your today’s bike trip will end as soon as you reach the Sarchu camp. Have a comfortable stay in the camp.

Day 5 : Sarchu to Leh

Continuing the journey towards Leh. Start early morning and Proceed to Leh. On Arrival check in at Hotel and Overnight stay and relax yourself at land of high attitude.

Day 6 : Leh Sightseeing

Today post breakfast start the  day by visiting the Shanti Stupa, which dominates the city’s skyline from atop a hill. The two-storey stupa is embellished with colourful and intriguing paintings of deities and incidents from Buddhist mythology. Later Visit the Hall of Fame dedicated to the Indian soldiers. It showcases weapons and documents recovered from the enemy during various wars.

A key attraction is the grand Spituk Monastery, dating to the 11th century. While here, do see the statues of Lord Buddha, and don’t miss the panoramic view of the Indus Valley below. Next travel to Gurdwara Pathar Sahib, one of the most sacred places for Sikhs. It houses a huge rock, believed to have been hurled at Guru Nanak by a demon. Then it is time to move to the famed Magnetic Hill. It is said that it pulls vehicle upwards when left on neutral.

Day 7 : Conquering Khardung-La (Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung-La)

After breakfast at the hotel commence on the road journey to Nubra Valley. Located in the extreme north of Ladakh, this desert land is distinguished for its white sands.

Wear sufficient warm clothes as the drive takes you past Khardung La, which at 18380 feet, is said to be the highest motorable road on earth.

As you reach the village of Hunder, you are in the valley, known as Ldumra, that means the valley of flowers. After checking-in at the camp site, explore the sand dunes that stretch from Hunder to Diskit along the Nubra and Shyok Rivers. Watch out for the two humped Bactrian camel that are found only in this part of India and Central Asia.

Day 8: Nubra to Leh.

Today morning post breakfast proceed to Dikshit Monestry and than back to Leh. Overnight stay at Leh.

Day 9 : Leh- Kargil

After breakfast proceed to Kargil and have a magnificent view of Kargil war Famous Peaks (Tiger, Tololing) from Vijay war memorial hall site, reach Kargil by evening. En-route visit Alchi Monastery and Lamayuru monastery. Evening back to Hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 10 : Leh – Pangaong via Chang-la

Today early morning start for Pangong. Cross the Chang-la and proceed towards Pangong. On Arrival check in at Comfortable camp. IN the evening have a look aroung the beautiful lake. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 11 : Back to Leh (Pangong Tso to Leh via Chang-La | Excursion to Rancho’s School)

Wake up to a mesmeric sunrise above the lake, and then head back to Leh. On the way, cross the approximately 17950-feet high Chang La, one of the highest mountain passes in the world.

Along the way, pay a visit to the Druk White Lotus School, that shot to fame with the movie ‘3 Idiots’ as the site where the last scene was shot. After exploring it and meeting local students, reach Leh, where you can spend some time at leisure.

A delicious dinner waits you at the hotel; thereafter, get a good night’s sleep in your room.

Day 12 : Leh to Keylong

Its little a long journey so start little early in the morning. Take packaged breakfast from Hotel and proceed toward Keylong. On arrival check in at hotel/camp. Overnight stay,

Day 13 : Keylong – Manali

Post breakfast proceed to Manali. Overnight stay at Manali. (Evening is leisure)

Day 14 : Manali to Chandigarh.

Post breakfast proceed back to Chandigarh. Drop at Chandigarh.

• Services of the vehicle on leisure days for sightseeing not included in the itinerary
• All alcoholic/aerated beverages, mineral water and starters
• Camera fees
• Medical and travel insurance

• Booking Policy
  • 30 days or more prior to the departure: 25% of the Land package cost
  • 29 to 19 days prior to the departure: 50% of the package cost
  • 19 to 01 days prior to the departure: 100% of the package cost
    • This is in addition to the tour deposit
  2. i) Balance amount is payable within 24 hours of receiving final tour confirmation
  3. ii) Important to be aware that the booking deposit is non – refundable
  • • Final handover of hotel vouchers / Air tickets will be done only upon receiving full and final payment
    • For payments made through cheques documents will only be dispatched after the cheque clearance

  Cancellation Policy

  In case of cancellation of holiday, the cancellation request must be informed to us via email. As per the booking conditions of holiday packages, we will be constrained to levy the following cancellation charges:

  30 days or more prior to the departure: 25% of the package cost

  29 to 19 days prior to the departure: 50% of the package cost

  19 to 01 days prior to the departure: 100% of the package cost

  **The cancellation charges are based on the above mentioned grid or the deposit amount whichever is higher

• • If you Cancel your Holiday
  • You or any member of your party may cancel their travel arrangements at any time. Written notification or an e-mail to that effect from the person who made the booking must be received at our office. The cancellation charges applicable are as per the published cancellation policy below: Cancellation charges per person
  • Minimum deposit amount is non-refundable

   

  • If we change or cancel your holiday. We do plan the arrangements in advance. It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your travel arrangements. o Occasionally, we may have to make changes and we reserve the right to do so at any time. If there are any changes, we will advise you of them at the earliest possible date. o We also reserve the right under any circumstances to cancel your travel arrangements by assigning reasons to you. o If we are unable to provide the booked travel arrangements due to reasons beyond our control (e.g. bad weather):We shall first try to offer alternative dates for the tour if the tour hasn’t already commenced. o If the tour has already commenced, then we shall refund the booking price/fee charged to you on a pro-rata basis depending on the portion of the tour utilized by you. o In all circumstances, however, our liability shall be limited to refunding to you the price we charged as tour fees (Depending on refund from suppliers/hotels).

   

  • If you want to change your holiday plan After confirmation of services, if you wish to change your travel arrangements in any way (e.g. your chosen departure date or accommodation), we will do our utmost to make these changes but it may not always be possible. Any request for changes must be in writing from the person who made the booking. All cost incurred due to amendment will be borne by you. If you have a complaint If you face any problem during your holiday, please inform the relevant supplier (e.g. your hotelier, transporter etc.) and/or our representative immediately who will endeavour to set things right. If your complaint is not resolved locally, please follow this up within 28 days of your return home by writing to us, with your booking reference and all other relevant information. However, please be advised that while we are happy to assist you in the redressal of your complaint, if any, we will be able to extend only our best efforts in managing/coordinating your complaint with the respective service provider. All third party service providers are independent contractors who are at no time under our control or supervision. All booking vouchers and tickets will be provided 3 days before departure.
